Dear Members,

I know that just about everyone in this forum has used paypal at one point or another. Its difficult to run an online business without using them.

But what everyone must be aware of is that paypal can be very dangerous. About seven months ago, paypal locked my account for "suspected fraud." They had no proof, and when I asked them what proof they had, they gave me nothing, and told me that the $70.00 sitting in my paypal account would be sent to me after six months(six months has passed and I've heard nothing from them.)

If you send money to anyone from asia be careful, as this could trigger paypal to lock your account. The point is, you can lose your business overnight if you have money sitting in a paypal account and they lock it. My adivce to everyone is that if you get a payment through paypal, immediately transfer it to your bank account. Don't leave it sitting in the paypal account, where they can accuse you of bogus "suspected fraud" and lock up your account for six months, earning interest on it while your online business suffers.
