that is for a domain name. What you do is you go to the site where you registered your domain name, login, there should be a "manage your domain names" link somewhere, or it may be called "my account"
Once in there you will want to find out how to change your DNS (Domain NameServers a.k.a ns) then update it.

who do you use as your domain registar? I use Godaddy so if you use them I can write up a walk through.

well, once you find out who the registar is let me know, and I will take a look at their site.

go here http://www.betterwhois.com/index.htm and conduct a 'who is search' on YOUR DOMAIN NAME. It will kick back complete records of registrant, admin, tech, contact & the registrar that the name is registered through.
Then go to that registrar & see if you can log into your acct.
If it was a 'free domain'.. chances are that you may find the name's admin may not be yourself.
Let us know.
Goodluck!
