Web Hosting Direct (www.webhostingdirect.net) never would put a site up that I asked them to. I contacted the company and spoke to Mr. Steve Renault. He stated that the site was listed as parked, even though I was paying for hosting, not parking and that he would get he site up and running by the next day. I called and e-mailed him several times, but the site never was put up. After about 10 days, I canceled the plan because the site was still not up. This company also tried to cancel another account that I had even though I e-mailed them and told them what I site I needed to cancel (even that had it in black and white to refer back to.) On these two occasions, I almost lost customers because of the service, or lack there of, that Web Hosting Direct provided. Web Hosting Direct says that they have a money back guarantee, but when I e-mailed and called them, they did not refund my money. I have I contacted the company and spoke to Mr. Steve Renault. I finally spoke to Mr. Renault, although he never would return my calls or e-mails, and despite Mr. Renault saying that he would refund the money, he has never done so. Based on my experience, I would not trust Web Hosting Direct to handle any business of mine. I have been trying to get the money refunded for 2 months now, and despite Mr. Renault saying that he would refund the money, he has never done so. Based on my experience, I would not trust Web Hosting Direct to handle any business of mine.
