CyberTitan and LightSpeedHost do not offer any more their services.

Unfortunatelly, one of their clients was SiteownersForums.

We believe that they will show some professionalism and give back to their clients their files before they are forced to do so.

What does Cybertitan hope to gain by holding it customers files?

They are promosing that they will upload the files to a new server soon, so they are still charging their customers CCs for services that they do not offer any more.

Let alone that they had a 99% guarantee...

Giving the files back is like accepting that they have closed.

Did they give any indication when that might be? Seems unreasonable to keep your files if they can't give a date.

I don't understand even my host was more cooperative with me by giving back my files before going out of business and i didn't have to pay for services they were still not giving to me. I believe that legal action is probably the best way to get what is yours and that is the files. I hope they do give you back the web site files because that was the orignal siteownersforums.com and was a real community before they took it away. But i am glad you guys are back to create that community to help people. :D

Frankly, I can't post what I'm thinking about the way SiteOwnersForums has been treated. I haven't posted but a couple times here, but enjoyed lurking about every couple weeks.

Anyway, I found a couple threads of massivly pissed people taking this issue tothe San Diego Police and the FBI, as well as the California Attorney General. I'll be making a hand delivery to the FBI and San Diego Police. I'm going to send the package to the CAG via registered mail. I've already spoke with a field agent and he said that if the information I provide turns out to be "substantiated" (I know it will), the issueing of arrest warrants will occur rather quickly.

Maybe y'all know some of the folks at these forums & can band together, get loud and get results.

Good Luck...if nothin' else shakes out of the tree, Steve I hope you, and everyone, get your files back.

Later~
