You cannot make money without a promotion strategy
 

Being in the internet biz since 2006, I have found that are a gizillion ways to make money on the web - most of them free and easy to start. However, the problem is how to promote. Promotion can be costly and takes a lot of hard work and time. So before you consider starting something, look at your promotional strategy first.

Seo is only one way. Although it costs nothing, it takes a lot of time and hard work.

You are right that promotion is difficult task and need lots of time but if you have money then you can start PPC to promote your products or services on large network of advertisers.

A list is not going to make you more money in the long run unless you are a product owner .... saying "the money is in the list" and that you can't make money online without a big email list

We need to do SEO and also PPC, PPC will get quick traffic to your website and SEO will get Long Time Traffic to your website. So Spend money on Both SEO and PPC and get good income.
