Hi Friends, Do you know which language is best for scripting? Plz tell me.:)

It depends entirely of you, what is your favorite one? If you are starting now I suggest Java.

Indeed. Java is platform independent programming language so you can start it with that but what I suggest you to go with you favorite one.
Also which operating system you are going to use ? Windows or linux ? that should also be considered while choosing scripting language.
You can use bash script on linux/unix while power shell scripting on windows 2008.

As I think it all depend on how difficult the tasks are you want to automate. For myself, I have always gone with shell-scripts, which enables you to call on awk, sed, grep, find, ls, cat, etc. which can be mutual together to do anything you can attain with perl or python.
