Website loading time will affect ranking?

In 2010, Google did something very different. Google announced website speed would begin having an impact on search ranking. Now, the speed at which someone could view the content from a search result would be a factor.

While Google has been intentionally unclear in which particular aspect of page speed impacts search ranking, they have been quite clear in stating that content relevancy remains king. So, in other words, while we can demonstrate a correlation (or lack thereof) between particular speed metrics and search ranking, we can never outright prove a causality relationship, since other unmeasurable factors are still at play. Still, in large enough scale, we make the assumption that any discovered correlations are a "probable influence" on search ranking and thus worthy of consideration.

Yes this is common problem in websites with irregular content..Firstly check your HTML code and css codes are written separately..If you add more style attributes inside HTML it will make your page loading slow..and compress the media files using in your site.. Then Use navigation to avoid whole content on the same page ..it also make your page slower..
If you found this comment is useful just reply,Thank you..

According to a survey, around 51 percent of online shoppers in the U.S claimed if a site is too slow they will not complete a purchase. Another survey says that, 47 percent of web users expect a website to load in under two seconds.

That means not only your search engine rankings go down but you’ll also get less sales and high bounce rates if your site is slow.

There are a bunch of factors that matters for Google ranking. It's not about ranking top on SE, it's about satisfying visitors and that's what Google count as ranking factor. If someone is easily staying on your web page and not going back to SERP because of low spending that seems good to Google. Slow loading time can cause high bounce rate and that will ultimately be treated as ranking factor.

Yes it affects ranking because the high loading speed of site will reduce the traffic which affects the ranking of the site.
