Adding visual interest in the form of images is a widely-used method for attracting readers to blog articles. But i am always hold back from spicing up my blog for fear of paying too much.

so can you give some tips on finding pictures for blog? Thanks in advance.

While choosing pictures for SEO effective blogs you need to pay attention to 2 primary points- firstly do not use copyrighted material/ images, try to use images that are yours or those from stock photos (free & paid are available) and secondly the images but be optimized with tags and also must be relevant to blog subject.

I agree with Jolly, that you can find it very easily from Google images, this is one of the best place to find images.

try Flickr. lot of image there and amazing pro shots

Photobucket is another option as well...can download quality photos from them.
