What is the difference between PPC and SEO?

PPC is a paid search engine marketing technique while SEO is an organic strategy. There are so many factors that can differentiate these two techniques such as traffic potential, cost, implementation and many others. SEO techniques have proven to be more successful as compared to PPC in terms of producing web traffic for the same search phrase. On the other hand, PPC is faster than SEO for setting up a strategic campaign and getting paid listings. PPC services literally charge per click while SEO does not. For this reason, search engine optimization techniques are beneficial for providing affordable budgets. SEO management is much more complicated than PPC management according to implementation steps.

SEO is a natural strategy & PPC is paid strategy. This has been given the most obvious difference is the price tag involved in these two techniques. You are paying for the clicks that PPC sends your way, whereas the clicks from SEO are free.

SEO is a process for promoting your website in natural SERP listing to find a related keyword. whereas PPC is a program announcement whr its host advertiser pays for a click.

PPC stands for Pay Per Click and it is a service provided by Google. SEO stands for search engine optimization. PPC is paid services and through SEO you can promote your website organically. Through PPC you will get result faster but only for short term and SEO will give long term benefits but it is a time consuming process.

I hope now you must be clear about both SEO & PPC.

Pay per click will help and advertise your product and service and get traffic in a faster way. SEO is the basic way to bring natural and organic traffic, and improve presence of your site. PPC is paid service, however SEO can be started without cost. Both the services can be done simultaneously in order to improve results. PPC can be stopped later, however SEO can not be stopped for the benefit of the site.

Pay Per Click (PPC) is that traffic coming from SEO (organic) is free while traffic generated from PPC is not free (as the name implies you have to pay a cost per click).
