It means that you dont get as much link juice

Priyanka785 09-23-2016 03:17 AM

If a search engine finds a “no follow” backlink it will just ignore the link and will not get deeper into crawling and no link juice is passed.

Hi, guys
No-follow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct search engines bots that means a hyperlink should not influence the link targets ranking in the search engines pages.

cedric903 09-26-2016 04:50 AM

Nofollow is an attribute that can be added to links to discourage Comment Spam.

no follow links are not useful for back links its very helpful in traffic

amanrai 09-26-2016 05:03 AM

No follow links are those links which are not crawled by the google bots, they are only helpful in getting traffic to your site but not helpful in ranking.

That I think is the best possible answer of this.

A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page’s favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn’t help a page’s placement in the SERPs. No follow links get no love. Theirs is a sad and lonely life.

jermainluong 09-27-2016 06:26 AM

A nofollow link tell the Google Crawler doesn't need to examine into it. Although it isn't counted as a point in the page's favor as Aman897 said, you should balance the number of nofollow & dofollow backlinks so that google won't mark your site as cheat

A Nofollow is an HTML attribute which is used in order to instruct the search engines that the hyperlink should not influence the ranking of the linked page.

topgoodreviews 09-28-2016 08:11 AM

Nofollow is a value of the attribute rel in anchor tag, it is used to tell the search engines that the hyperlink of this anchor tag should not pass out the link juice of this page to the linking page.

Hope this will help you.

If a search engine finds a “no follow” backlink it will just ignore the link and will not get deeper into crawling and no link juice is passed :

rel=”nofollow”>keyword

Notice the “nofollow” attribute in the above code. This defines a code as “nofollow”. So “nofollow” backlinks are not important in terms of search engines as it is not crawled. The comments section mostly have no follow links. But that does not mean that these links are useless. You can still get some quality traffic from these also.
Regards.
