It is not an outdated programming language but it is used in most of coding done nowadays because it is server scripting language and easy to manage and install over the internet. Furthermore, it is an open source language too.

PHP is a chronic language but it is not an outdated programming language because 90% of websites still using PHP. It is the most used language for web development.If we talk about PHP, it is basically a server site scripting language. Initially,it is known as Personal Home Page but after sometime it is called as hypertext Preprocessor,developed by Rasmus Lerdorf, which is powered by zend engine.
