PageRank is Google's ranking algorithm... Google will assign a rank to your web pages based on your web page's reputation. this reputation is adjudged by number of authority links pointing to it.

On the other hand Alexa rank is rank assigned to your website based on number Alexa visitor on your website. (Alexa visitors are those which have Alexa toolbar installed on their system)

There is huge difference between google pagerank and alexa rank. Algorithm of both are too much different, Google give ranking to website as per their popularity from 0 to 10 and alexa give ranking to website with their overall popularity from 1 to so on...
