Link building is important, but do not create spam, and the content for article, blog should be unique, if you use duplicate content then it might be harmful for your site.

Yeah, clean SEO techniques also known as white hat techniques is one of the best thing you can do for your website to be in the first page of your every keyword for your website. Be familiarized with this for Google was so in love in having a good posture in the online society.
