Is all Depend on Interest. Classical music has affected today's music is of the musical structure. To compose a song, a composer need to know music.Today's music are often performed using an orchestra too (pop music, musicals). Bands are also can be considered 'derived' from the main orchestra. The drum set came from the timpani, the bass guitar from the double bass, the guitar from the violin or viola, the keyboard from the piano or other instruments (since it can make many kinds of sound). Generally modern music cannot be played without the inventions of the various instruments from the classical time.

Those who understand music know the value of classical music. But it has been vanishing away day by day.

I know the importance of listening to good music and i must say that those people who are interested in music must listen to the Classical music first :D
