One is Limited With Designs (Web Design ) and One Extra Ordinary and Not to Let it Done By Sticking with Any Limitations (Graphic Design ) ..

Regarding What is different between Graphic design and Web design

Simple differences between Web Design and Graphic Design

Web Design:
1. Web design overlaps Graphic design and it involves creating graphics, typography, and images just like Graphic design. But here we use the World Wide Web
2. Web Designer has a restriction what they can do.
3. Web designer must be able to turn their design to a working website.

Graphic Design:
1. Graphic design involves creating graphics typography and images. But here not necessary to use the world wide web.
2. Graphic designer has no restriction in graphic designing.
3. Graphic designer do not do any conversion like design to working website.

Graphic design includes logos and print design. Graphic Design includes anything in the world that you see that has been created and printed. Whereas Web design overlaps graphic design in the graphics and overall appearance and flow of the pages.

I just wanted to through my two cents in here and reiterate what some of the other folks have said. You can have good graphic design without web design (as it applies to many other fields: print, commercial, advertising, TV, etc.), but you really can't have good web design without at least some consideration of graphic design. While a great deal of good web design revolves around technical aspects (making sure the website is fully functional for both the backend and the enduser), it also needs to be visually appealing in a way that is easy and functional. A good website shouldn't need a tutorial for the average person just to be able to operate all its functions. Think about it like a car: the design of the engine and other technical parts is like web design, the design of the molding, paint job, and other body details is like good graphic design. They go hand-in-hand.

Graphic design is designing the images or graphics to use where web designing means arrange the contents to show in browser via various languages.

Graphic design is the broader term and include almost all time of designing and Web designing is limited to the website designs.

Graphic Design would focus on how to design graphically pleasing layouts. You would learn about color theory, typefaces, the relationship between design elements when placed on a page and just generally how to make things, either printed or displayed in another way, look appealing.

Web Design would require many of the skills of a good graphic designer but also, you'd need to learn how to write web pages. You'd probably start by learning HTML (hyper text mark up language) which is the scripting language web pages are made up of. You'd move on to current and updated languages like XML and cascading style sheets.

Though I don't know for sure, I suspect a web designer would make more money.

graphic designer will have less knowledge about coding part.

To create a website, a graphic designer needs to be familiar with optimizing files for the web, so they transfer quickly over the Internet and web pages load quickly
