Structured data is added directly to a page HTML markup. Search engines use structured data to generate rich snippets, which are small pieces of information that will then appear in search results. Structured data report. If Google understands the markup on your pages, it can use this information to add rich snippets and other features to your search result. It also provides information about errors in page markup that may prevent rich snippets or other search features from being displayed.

AMP stands for Accelerated Mobile Pages, a Google-backed project designed as an open standard for any publisher to have pages load quickly on mobile devices. On Feb. 24, 2016, Google officially integrated AMP listings into its mobile search results.
