What is a deep link?
 
Can anyone explain to me what a deep link is by any chance? I know I keep giving you guys a headache but I am learning bit by bit what this all means. Ecen though I sometimes Google stuff the way they explain it is like friggin' rocket science to me lol. I need things delivered to this little brain layman's terms.

If you want to know in a simple answer, then here it is. A deep link is a link that enables you to go to the content directly. Most of the web links are the deep links. So the use of a hyperlink that links to a piece of web content is the deep link.

Deep link is the extra path added to the main url of the website which links to the other webpage of the same website which are most visited instead of the home page.
http://www.xyz/path/theme.html is the deep link.
