According to me all way are good and best for seo but same way very effective where you can get more traffic like social networking, bookmarking, forum posting, article submission of the high PR than get more traffic and back links.

Unique content is very important for the promotion of the site. It is very important to do the changes in the content time to time. Always make sure that their is no duplicity of the content.

I agree with Mikest, fresh and unique content still works. The content has to be 400+ words instead of just 250 before the Panda update.

Google panda only targeted to existing content, any new fresh content will be re-evaluate by Google. If a site is leading with majority duplicate content, the site could expected a spike decrease in traffic.

After panda, forum and blog comment are best way to get good keyword ranking because Panda more consider to content relevancy. So make your content fresh and relevant.
