Penguin 4.0, Phase 2 was the last update in Google Algorithm on October’16. However, there was one more unnamed major update that has resulted spikes in some [HQ (high quality)] websites in SERP.

Other important changes include:

Penguin data is refreshed in real time, so any changes will be made as soon as the affected page has been recrawled and reindexed.
