I have been very happy with Treehouse which is a e-learning platform for all kinds of programming languages. I think it cost like 25$ a month, but it's totally worth it. It's also possible to have a 14-days trial. Other places where you could start out, is w3schools, codeacademy etc.

There are many programming languages, paradigms, and tools to learn.

First of all, you need to choose what do you want to spe******e in, and what kind of problems do you want to solve.

Then build "stuff" using that language. A concrete problem will guide you in your learning and show whether you're going in the right direction.

There are a lot of languages that are very simple to learn and write. You could start with Matlab, like what others have suggested but in my opinion, you can start off with abstract coding and also learn basic programming theory if you don’t know yet. It will make things easy for you to convert the logic into any programming language by learning the syntax.
