Difference between keyword & keyword phrase?

Lest say one keyword is having 10k searches and other similar long tail keywords are having 500 - 2k searches. So by targeting the main keyword, we will try to target those keyword phrases too.

A keyword is essentially any word or phrase you use when searching with a search engine.

Combination of those keywords is called key phrase.

Keywords is a set of phrase whereas, phrase is a one words.
Ex: Website Design Company is a keywords and website, design, company are phrase.

A single word is considered as keyword. And a set of keyword is called key phrase.

"Travel" is a keyword and "Travel package" is key phrase.

Keyword- A keyword is essentially any word or phrase you use when searching with a search engine.” In a simple language, any single word related to your business, product/services which can be useful for your business.
Keyword Phrase- Combination of those keywords is called key phrase.
