Social Media is part of linkbuilding?
What you think is social media is a part of linkbuilding?
If you are sharing link on FB, Twitter, LinkedIN or any other website. Can you count those links as backlinks? |
Just to clear things here. Any back-link is good for the potential traffic, to acquire more visitors. But not any back-link will contribute to SERP (search engine ranking page). FB, Twitter and LinkedIn are huge sources for potential visitors but those links won't make you benefit for the ranking as they are "nofollow" tags.

yes, social media sites like fb, twitter and etc. is part of link building. They are not counted since they are non follow links.

I am a little bit confuse as half of the seo experts and the seo fellows believe that no follow links are also beneficial and half of the remaining say that they are not useful for getting good page rankings. I will go with the first category that believe that no follow links are also helpful whatever that may be like social networks or any other marketing strategy.

All this are part of SMM ( Social Media Marketing)

It simply let other people know about your product, Facebook for example appeals to social people and can be very addicting to people who have an insatiable appetite to stay connected with friends and make new acquaintances.
