These pages appear in search results ad when user clicks on it, they will redirect you to some page which is irrelevant to your search query.

This is one technique of backhat SEO.

A doorway page is redirecting the visitors another page without their knowledge by using some form of cloaking, in doorway pages it show a different page to human being and a different page to search engine bots. This page has been designed to gain popularity with a specific search engine. It is created for spamming the index of search engine. It is unethical technique and also known as black hat SEO method.
