Affiliate marketing or Email marketing, which one is better to sale product on web?

As per my personal point of view affiliate marketing is better than email marketing to promoting business to generate more traffic. This is the best way to earn more money. This is the way to advertising your business though banner ad on other website.

Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing in which a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought about by the affiliate's own marketing efforts.
Email marketing is directly marketing a commercial message to a group of people using email. In its broadest sense, every email sent to a potential or current customer could be considered email marketing.

As per the my opinion, Email marketing. Because Doing E-mail marketing not required money. In the opposite, Affiliate marketing requires money to run the ad campaign.

Both are good, but I have words to say for both. Email marketing is best in terms of cost. But at the same time I believe that you should have email list of subscriber of your website. Purchase list from other persons might not be the best way. Send attractive offers in inbox to your subscribers, there is high chance of conversion as they already trusted you. In the case of affiliate marketing, you need higher profit margin because affiliate marketer demands high percentages against their efforts. So you must do email marketing and send out emails regularly when you have something new to your subscribers and to those who have purchased once from your website. Email marketing requires a simple software. Affiliate is thinkable option but it is good or bad depends on scenario.
