Hi,
you can check it manually, go to webmaster tools and get your backlink's list from there and then check those links, if they are broken then disavow those link via webmaster and for more you can see the tutorial on youtube by matt cutts....

Submit your website in google webmaster tool and find all the broken links and it also allows you to fix these links.
