It's the best example of the Google Policy: Just post good and quality content on your site and you will be rewarded in turn. Also, the number of daily visitors counts much when analyzing ranking for Wikipedia. Additionally, Wikipedia doesn't support any kind of commercial activities which makes it a better place to get the knowledge on any topic.
