I am interested to know if your buying traffic how it actually works. Do you just get a link or banner put on a high traffic site that links to your site and it counts how many clicks you are receiving until your clicks are used? Or is it more black hat techniques where users will be redirected to your site through pop-ups.

I have heard that a lot of traffic is actually just bots so your stats will see lots of visitors but they won't be looking at your content or clicking on ads.
