Article spinning can be done manually. In this case the author bases his new text on an existing one. Manual article spinning is often used to “recycle” content when an existing text is needed for different purposes or to address different reader groups, e.g. when a press release is rewritten into a blog post. Usually the general tone and the structure of the text will be changed.
