Well title optimization is the main method of onpage optimization.One should always try putting some keywords related to the content in his title.The titles should be unique to each page as the content of each page is unique too. The titles should convey the content of the page in a resourceful manner.As far as Meta tags are concerned,some of meta tags are very useful for SEO purpose like meta description tag,ROBOT,e.t.c.But meta keyword tag is irrelevant now a days.
