Site Map is a map of site where all pages of website is linked. It is basically two types,
HTML Site Map
XML Site Map
HTML Site map is created and publish and linked to website for user understanding of complete website in single page and glance but XML Site Map is created and publish to website for search engine understanding. It helps search engine to index page and content. XML is Server side scripting language but HTML is a user side design scripting language.
