Event management is a tough task in its own.And like any other fields now a days less payment tough task.Let it be marriage events, events from some governmental or private company this job is always challenging.If you are pursuing a career in this you need skill, training and experience all three.Innovation is also one very crucial factor as you mentioned here.You look at the governmental events being held in our country, let it be republic day celebrations or recent yoga day, all of them is a very challenging tasks.If the final out come is good you get praises if its bad you get all the curses.Such is this job.
