All users of the New Zealand Māori Language Virtual School of Languages Sub-forum are encouraged to read the following rules and to familiarise themselves with them. This is so that you, the user of the New Zealand Māori Language Virtual School of Languages Sub-forum, know exactly what constitutes appropriate and inappropriate behaviour as well as your rights and responsibilities are.
Anyone who posts a topic or a post breaking these rules will result in the offending topic/post being moved to the Moderator Administrative Forum where the forum moderators will adjudicate on the matter. In accordance with the UniLang bylaws Revision 10: October 17, 2005, the following behaviour will not be tolerated in the New Zealand Māori Language Sub-forum. Members exhibiting disturbing, abusive or otherwise unacceptable behaviour may be restricted in their access, sanctioned otherwise, or denied access entirely, at any time, as determined by the Board of Directors or administration of a particular section, based upon the seriousness of the violation. Unacceptable behaviour is defined as: 1) Discriminating, stalking, intimidating (including ***ual), blackmailing, insulting or otherwise harassing any other member or visitor. Even if as an act of retaliation after provocation. 2) Any kind of Denial of Service attack against any section of UniLang or any member 3) Any kind of spam, even if in private mails/messages to other members. 5) Knowingly submitting corrupted material or damaging existing material 6) Knowingly submitting copyrighted material without permission 7) Discriminating, stalking, intimidating, blackmailing, insulting or otherwise harassing UniLang, its organization, its community, one of its committees, or the board, as a whole. 8 ) Any kind of attempt to obtain unauthorized access to a secure section of UniLang 9) Excessive bandwidth usage, by for example leeching the entire site. 10) Failure to comply to the established policy of a particular section 11) Failure to comply to a previously received sanction 12) Violating privacy by quoting sensitive data from a private discussion, especially if explicitly stated as such • Harvesting personal data, including e-mail addressed, names, IPs, etc... • ***ual advanced/intimidations directed as an adult (age 21 and up) at minors (age 15 and below) • Using a service for a purpose it was not meant to be used. Including excessive offtopic conversation if warned plenty. 13) Any member has the right to issue a complaint about the behaviour of another member. Complaints have to be dealt with as serious as possible by the responsible authorities, and always warrant an adequate reply. With the sole exception of excessively repeated complaints, and complaints from people violating themselves article 8.6, if their complaint can be tied to their own violation. 14) Members can forward complaints once to the Board of Directors if they feel other lower authorities don't deal with them in a satisfactory manner. The board is obliged to take it up, provide adequate response, and will have the final say. 15) Members have the right to be told once the reason of a sanction/access restriction 16) Members have the right to appeal once against any sanction/access restriction to the entire Board of Directors, who will always have the _nal say, and receive adequate response. 17) Members enjoy protection of their privacy
