Hello friends I want to know that what are the pop up adds? What are are benefits of such types of adds? Is these adds are beneficial for get ranking in search engines?

no that are not beneficial for ranking. When we click on a page anywhere and new window appear that called pop up.

I find pop up adds take away from your company brand, they are too in your face for internet marketing. People get very turned off by this form of advertising these days.

Mixed feelings for popups depend on what type are encountered by users. Sometimes the "close" link ends up opening a new tab or new window and intrudes on the users experience. And that counts as a click. But other times they are actually useful. They help companies collect feedback and gauge interest of customers. Depending on how intricately built the ad is, the pop-up can be all that is needed to get the information from or to the user.

I think pop up adds are not rank you well, there is no concern with that. I would like to suggest to avoid pop up adds, because this is also type of spamming.
