To get backlinks to your website you must have a quality content, where the user will share your article then you will get backlinks. Also work on link buildings strategies to get backlinks from higher ranked website to increase your page rank.

download the plugin mozbar and check Da and Pa ( point ) before you set backlinks, a good backlink must be DA >> 30 or Pa >> 30

You must be careful in building backlinks, avoid to create spam backlinks, backlinks in low PR, DA websites, forums. You should build your backlinks to high PR, DA website and join in relevant topics with your site content. Good luck!
