No limit, but the maximum reasonable is 70 character

Title and description are not have any limit in characters but Google can read only 70 characters in title and 150 characters in description. So the remaining characters are not useful.

There is no such limit because the website is totally your property, but you should keep it short and relevant so that it search engine can clearly understand the nature of your website in few words. I think a title of 4-7 words will be fine. Long titles slows down your page speed and also look spammy. So avoid long titles.

There is no such fixed limit for a title in seo. But yes we use upto 60char length for a title, reason behind this is whenever we search any query and get the results on SERP; only title upto 60 character are shows there. Thats the reasons we take title limit upto 60 character so that our complete title will display on SERP.

Mainly 70 characters are there for title that google reads and the 150 words are for the descreption that your write after the title box.

The title tags should ideally be between 50-60 characters.

Consist of 55 to 60 character in the title tag and we have to use primary keyword title tag.Description limit is 155 to 160 character and we have to use primary keyword in the description tag.
