The links shown below some of Google's search results, called sitelinks, are meant to help users navigate your site. Google's system analyzes the link structure of your site to find shortcuts that will save users time and allow them to quickly find the information they're looking for. Google only show sitelinks for results when we think they'll be useful to the user. If the structure of your site doesn't allow google's algorithm to find good sitelinks, or Google don't think that the site links for your site are relevant for the user's query, Google won't show them. At the moment, sitelinks are automated.

Sitelinks are hyperlinks to site subpages that show up under certain Google postings with a specific end goal to enable clients to explore the site. The site proprietor can't include any sitelinks; Google includes them through its own mystery computerized algorithms. If you have a Google Adwords program you can make battle and adgroup level sitelinks.

As Google explains, “We only show sitelinks for results when we think they'll be useful to the user. If the structure of your site doesn't allow our algorithms to find good sitelinks, or we don't think that the sitelinks for your site are relevant to the user's query, we won't show them.”

Site links cannot be generated manually. It is automatically generated by the search engine based on the popularity and quality of the links

In a nutshell, they direct users to the best results in the shortest amount of time. And they make your site more prominent in search results, which is important for branding purposes.

The site owner cannot add any sitelinks; Google adds them through its own secret automated algorithms. If you have a Google Adwords program you can create campaign and adgroup level sitelinks.

Google does not show the site links if those are not relevant to the user queries.
