Submit comments on blog is good for SEO - Site Owners Forums

I heard many webmasters saying that submitting comments on blogs is good for SEO. They said because each blog will give us one unique link back (of course if our comments get approved).
They also said that instead of putting our names on the name box, put the link title.
Any idea and/or suggestion is appreciated.

Blog Commenting is very effective way to get back links.
But i am not doing now a days because i am confuse about it because most of the blogs are no follow.

Blog commenting is good for SEO but only do-follow not no-follow.

Still no follow sites can give you some visits. Now a days many sites have changed themselves from do follow to no follow. But one thing I have realized with some blogs is that even the blog is no follow but they are still giving backlinks. You can also do more and more forum posting as a replacement.

Yup! I agree, dont mind if it is do follow or no follow. these are the same, they both give you back links.

As long as you are linking to good sites and not anything like link farms. This method is very effective. Especially if they are high PR sites or authority sites.

Blog Commenting is very effective way to get back links. And one more thing is that this blog should be DoFollow blog.

Yes it is. Because blog commenting helps establish quality back links on relevant subjects and also helps with your positioning of the brand which are both vital for SEO.

Yes you can comment on blog for SEO use, as blog commenting is very useful and effective technique and you can make it more useful by commenting on .edu and .gov sites

Yes I think blog commenting is the good way to increase traffic and SERP because by this way you can get more visitor and back links so that is the good for seo.
