I would say IT Consulting is when an individual or team of experts use their knowledge of technology to benefit a person or business. There are the obvious benefits like fixing viruses, slow internet connections and malfunctioning programs but there is a larger picture which we try to focus on, which is to use technology to increase work flow, increase reach and ultimately leverage technology into growing your business.

basically IT consulting is: analyzing IT requirements within companies and giving independent and objective advice on the use of IT.
