Directory, Social Bookmaking, Press Release, Blog Commenting, Forums

Which is more effective from the above.

For me Article directories submissions, Forum postings, Blog commenting, Social media works me a lot. Through these techniques I got some quality backlinks.

There are many ways to get backlinks. There is not only one google want diversity. Backlinks from many ip's many websites givea you a groom.
Article submissions
Forum postings
Blog commenting
Social media book marking are good sources to get backlinks..

Blog Comments from your niche blogs are way effective as according to me. Social Bookmarking and other link building do effect your site but the niche sites always help you a bit more.

Above mention all methods are good to get backlinks and they are all effective in Google. As per Google guideline high PR, relevant and do follow sites are good for building back links and it will give you good traffic and ranking in Google search engine.

I do Blog Commenting, Directories, Forums but these should be done in Google guidelines otherwise your site will be penalized as Google started war.Zoogle..LOL

Back links from relevant sites are the most effective for any kind of search engines. Getting back links from high page rank d-follow sites is always helpful for your site optimization.
