I wasn't sure where to put this, considering it relates to more than one topic... Anyway, I've been out of web development for like a year now, and now I come back to find all this stuff like HTML5 and CSS3 and everything. I'm a youngen, and technology still moves too fast for me . So, what is actually necessary to know? I don't really have any implementations, but I always like to know a good bit just in case . Any suggestions?

Its very nice that you are to much interested person in development faculty, On internet there is so many website that help you and online materials are available so, you can read it and in shortly we have to get knowledge about development and at initially do any one small online project to get fluency.

You just need to learn a language (HTML as you said) and keep updated. New commands and options are coming out almost every month, you just need to learn them the soonest possible and try to use them or update your knowledge.
