My advice is content because content is king traffic is queen and will always be this way because internet will always be an information highway try to decrease your bounce rate by inserting videos and unique content and use the power of social site also

Good SEO Practices
Content, then backlinks, then code injection into the header and footer (focus on social media LIKE buttons), then advertisements. Don't stop updating your content and adding backlinks.
I had a post that was much more in depth, but apparently it had a "bad" word in it (it didn't) so I couldn't post it.
