you can contact facebook for advertisement, but specific advertise can be placed on specific fanpage or group by contact, contact fanpage admin and lets advertisement flow naturally, not judged as spam

Under the home pulldown you will see an option that says Advertise on Facebook. Select this and follow the prompts. I can tell you I have advertised on FB for about a month and did not see any significant traffic come in. So I do not use it anymore but I had to try it. I don't really think its worth it. Personally, I never click on a FB ad.
