Heading tags are used to highlight the main points of headings of any webpage. Suppose you have a blog, and that blog has a title. For that title you can use heading tag H1. H1 should be used only once in a webpage for good Seo. Othet heading tags are H2, H3, H4, H5 and H6.

Hello,

HTML Heading tags are used to differentiate the heading of a webpage from the rest of its content. They are the simplest ways to divide up the content of your page into different smaller sections to make it more comprehensible.

For search engine optimization these tags inherit a lot more importance than other HTML tags. If properly used and optimized, heading tags are responsible for bringing up the keywords used in them in SERPs.

Heading tags range from H1 to H6, with H1 being the largest and the most important and H6 the smallest and least important. Therefore, you should always use them in top-to-bottom order: H1 for the main section including one of the most important keyword of your webpage, H2 for subheadings, H3 for even smaller headings and so on.

The most important heading tag is the h1 tag and least important is the h6 tag. In HTML coding, the heading tags from h1 to h6 form a top-down hierarchy. This means that if you skip any of the tag numbers the heading structure will be broken, which is not ideal for on-page SEO.

Your title is considered H1 tag, and if you create the first heading in your body then you should define it as H2 tag (usually when you write an article for SEO, let's say blog, you will see these functions) .H1-H3 tags are the most important and should contain your keyword. It's not as important for H4-H6 to contain your keyword.

Headings are defined with the <h1> to <h6> tags.
⦁ <h1> defines the most important heading.
⦁ <h6> defines the least important heading.
Search engines use the headings to index the structure and content of your web pages.
