Brand is not branding. The difference between brand and branding is that one is a marketing tool and the other is an action. Perhaps the biggest mixerupper I hear in business is the use of brand and branding as interchangeable words. ... Branding is about defining, while advertising is about promoting.

A brand is the idea or image of a specific product or service that consumers connect with, by identifying the name, logo, slogan, or design of the company who owns the idea or image.
Branding is also a way to build an important company asset, which is a good reputation. |
