Hey I've an cricket blog for and i need traffic to rank my site as soon as possible because i heard from someone if you get traffic on site then it will be rank soon

Traffic is only part of the Google algorithm for ranking sites. You can use social networks like Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook to drive traffic to your site without having to be "ranked" by Google. Getting ranked is difficult and it takes quite a bit of time, even if you are very knowledgeable about SEO.

forum posting, share on social media and post unique but interesting content for getting traffic. This works best. Use Twitter and facebook and pinterest. And remember unique and usefull posts works the best.
