Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language which is used for web designing. This is used to give a look and formatting of a written document in a markup language.

CSS is independent of HTML and can be used with any XML-based markup language.

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. CSS describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on screen, paper, or in other media. CSS saves a lot of work. It can control the layout of multiple web pages all at once. External stylesheets are stored in CSS files.
