Indeed, content is key. But we have also seen Google change their algorithm recently to focus more on content as well. Spacing of key words in the content, a good ratio of key words, no stuffing. The keywords should also be carefully researched.

Now this isn't the case with Google, you would normally have to do heavy keyword research to find those low competitive keywords. Then on top that you have to build a boatload of links, which is just not fun!

As per my experience, I have found that Yahoo does not easily index website easily as compare to other search engine. It also does not deal well with SEO.

As far as SEO is Yahoo does not rank highly in terms of experience. The indexing of websites in yahoo does not easily like others.
