Showing different site content to both search engines & user is called cloacking. This is one of the spam technique used to gain quick rankings.

Having two version of the same web page one for the search engine bot and one for the visitor this is called Cloaking.

Cloaking may be a program improvement (SEO) technique during which the content given to the program spider is totally different from that given to the user's browser. this can be done by delivering content supported the IP addresses or the User-Agent hypertext transfer protocol header of the user requesting the page. once a user is known as a groundwork engine spider, a server-side script delivers a special version of the net page, one that contains content not gift on the visible page, or that's gift however not searchable.

Cloaking is tricking Google so it sees different content (eg more/differently optimized) on your website than search engines do.

Cloaking refers to the Black Hat Technique, where content shown to the visitor is different from what crawlers read in the website. Implementing this technique can affect your website negatively, as you are breaching Google guidelines.

Clocking is basically a technique which is used to deliver the quality content on a web page over a search engine in a way that is completely different to what the user was looking for.
