I have heard and seen about the page verification in Facebook, but i want to know what actually is the "Verification" and how to verify the page, can anyone do it, how much time it requires? Please share your knowledge and views

Verified mark is only available for worldwide stuff such as big companies, celebrities, and such which have have potential to be faked or claimed by other people. Note that not every authentic pages are verified by Facebook and you cannot request an authentication.

You can report person or fake pages which are impersonating you or your page by clicking the cog icon on their profile or pages.

Facebook verifies owner ship of page by sending a text sms to the mobile number provided. Once the sms is received please type the sms in the verification box to verify your ownership. Once the owner ship is verified you will be eligible to change your Facebook url to any custom URL of your choice like facebook.com/domainname

It is necessary to verify the Facebook page, Verified page had more visit than unverified page.

Facebook checks proprietor ship of page by sending a content sms to the portable number gave. Once the sms is gotten please sort the sms in the confirmation box to check your proprietorship. Once the proprietor transport is checked you will be qualified to change your Facebook url to any custom URL of your decision like facebook.com/domainname
