Arrow How Google calculate the pagerank?

PageRank (PR) a proprietary numerical score that's assigned by Google to each web content in their index. PR for every page is calculated by Google employing a special mathematical algorithm, based mostly on the quantity and quality as determined by Google of the inbound links to the page.

Link popularity will determine whether a page will rank higher than the other..A page is ranked higher if there are more sites linking to it.

Google calculates the Pagerank by using the Algorithm. At present Google is using Penguin algorithm to caluculate the pageranks of the websites.

Google figures that when one page links to another page, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be.

I think traffic does matter of PR calculation. Good traffic of the website helps increase the website page rank.

Of course traffic helps to increase website PR.

That's why the best SEO methods now are content management and content quality. The good PR have websites with frequent content updates like news sites, good blog sites, social media sites.

Good way to impre PR is creating a blog or articles site with contents, which people are going to look: for example by answering some frequently asked questions in your own article.

There are actually many aspects to consider when ranking a site.
But links are really one of the most valuable from the rest.
